Sparkathon is a fun get together with your family where you sit together and try to light a fire... jk. That would suck. So we have something better for you!
How about a hackathon where you can brainstorm and build trying to solve an important problem in the world? What if the hackathon is also beginner friendly by letting you build an app without requiring code? What if it has really incredible prizes worth ₹12 lakhs? What if you could learn about ideation, product-market fit, design, sprints and much more while participating in it? Too good to be true? With IGNITE 3.0 switching to virtual mode, we bring you Sparkathon with all of this and more. Register now and apply with Devfolio to be a part of the first ever Sparkathon.
This event is both Beginner and Pro friendly!
There can be minimum of 1 member and maximum of 4 members in a team.
A laptop or PC and a stable internet connection is all you need.
Absolutely! Sparkathon is designed in such a beginner-friendly way that even students who are from a non-technical background can learn a lot and put their perspective into action to create a unique project that gets them the win! We have two tracks a code and no-code track so that everyone takes something from the event.
Any college undergraduate student can attend. Your field of study does not matter. Be it technical or non-technical, every undergraduate student is welcome to participate!
There is no specific problem statement. We have 8 domains in total which also includes an open innovation theme so if you have anything in mind that you want to develop and is not mentioned in our domain list you are free to do so!
Well, there's a lot you get from this event! If you are a beginner, you get a chance to learn the technical procedure of building a project and implement it. If you are someone who is from a technical background, you get the chance to showcase your deep knowledge and extraordinary skills on a huge platform provided by IGNITE. In either case, winners get a chance to be recognized as a tech genius, along with some amazing prizes!
The entire idea is not necessary to be working but the submission should be functional in order to be evaluated by the judges.
No being online all the time is not required. You can work on your local system and submit it when done at Devfolio’s submission page.
Only one member of the team would have to submit the project when done. You must add the link of a video prepared by you to pitch your application and need to add link of your Github repository or your code files in ZIP format in order to be viewed by judges. In case if you have used our partner technologies (eg: Portis, Draftbit etc.) you need to mention how and where have you made use of it.
Sorry to hear that! You can write us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you ASAP!
